Devonfield Inn

Nestled in the beautiful hills of the Berkshires in the historic town of Lee, Devonfield is a gracious English-Style country house which was originally built in 1800 by a Revolutionary Soldier and modernized and landscaped in the early 1900s by George Westinghouse Jr., the son of the famous inventor. The Estate remained in the hands of the John Bross Lloyd family from the 1920's-60's until purchased by a local Veterinarian, Dr. Bernard and Anne Collins where they raised their nine children. He sold the home in 1980 to Lilliane & Gerhard Schmid, a world renowned Chef, who converted the home into an Inn.
