For access to any facilities, roads, parks, or other potential locations which are owned or controlled by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, inquiries should be made directly to the Massachusetts Film Office: http://www.mafilm.org

All other permitting is handled locally by the individual jurisdictions. Please contact the Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative Office (413.528.4223) or the individual towns listed below.

Generally, you will be dealing with a representative from the mayor’s office, the Board of Selectmen, or the Town Administrator. The earlier you reach out to them, the better. Smaller towns may take longer if the proposed location(s) must be put on the town meeting agenda for approval.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative.
