ABOUT ROOST and the ROOST team:
Roost will be Anna Kerrigan¹s first feature film. An edgy update on the
Chekhovian tradition of a week in the country gone awry, Roost is a witty,
dramedy that explores themes of family, intimacy, class and sexual politics.
This low budget, digital film will be shot on location in New York City and
Stockbridge, Massachusetts in May of 2010.
The Roost team includes some extremely motivated and talented members. Our
leads have been cast and you can find their updated biographies on the
Website, www.jackfishfilms.com.
Austin Lysy as Brett, Amy Herzog as Camden, Sam Rosen as Crane and Anna
Kerrigan as Alice. In addition to our stellar cast, we have expanded to
include Julie La¹Bassiere, who heads of strategic planning and marketing for
Tribeca Enterprises (which produces the Tribeca Film Festival), has signed
on as a co-producer, Zoë Reiniger, who most recently worked in production at
the Los Angeles Film Festival and Spirit Awards and Sam Forman, a
playwright, screenwriter and producer of downtown comedian Billy
Eichner¹s Creation Nation and Line Producer, Danielle Reisigl.
