BIFF and Beacon Cinema Sponsor Smart Phone Film Festival in Pittsfield

So you’ve got this fancy new smartphone or maybe an iPad 2 with advanced filmmaking capabilities and suddenly you realize that filmmaking has never been easier. The Berkshire International Film Festival and the Beacon Cinema are teaming up to present a different take on the film festival scene as part of the inaugural 10 x 10 on North festival scheduled to run February 16-26, 2012 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Filmmakers will be given an opportunity to have their short smart phone films showcased at the Beacon Cinema over the course of the 10 x10 Festival. The deadline for submissions in January 30. For more details on this innovative festival and how to enter, please click here.
