2012 Berkshire International Film Festival Announces Call For Entries
On December 1, the Berkshire International Film Festival (BIFF) announced its call for entries for feature, documentary, and short films. Slated films will be selected by the end of March and announced in April.
The seventh annual BIFF will be held May 31 – June 3, 2012 at the Triplex Cinema, the historical Mahaiwe Theatre, the Beacon Cinema, and other venues throughout Great Barrington and Pittsfield. The submissions deadline is March 1, 2012.
2012 will mark the 7th annual festival, with plans to showcase nearly 75 of the best films that are currently being produced in independent filmmaking. The 7th annniversary festival will once again feature a juried prize for documentary and narrative feature films sponsored by GWFF.
The BIFF and Berkshire Bank will also host the third annual “Next Great Filmmaker Award” for best short film chosen by the public. All awards carry a $5000 cash prize.
