Califone: All My Friends Are Funeral Singers
The experimental roots rock band Califone’s sound is full of layers and textures that seem to reveal hidden worlds – and fittingly their latest album is also the name of bandleader Tim Rutili’s first feature-length film. All My Friends Are Funeral Singers, a dark tale about a psychic living in an old country house full of friendly ghosts, features music from the album and the band members as characters. The band will perform the score to the film and follow the screening with a live set.
