Friday, May 12th

11:30AM: Registration at Sheraton Monarch Place 2nd Floor

11:30AM-6:30PM: Hands on Demo Time (all day)

11:45AM: Networking lunch begins

12:30-12:45PM: “Covering All the Bases with Vitec Supports”  Vitec’s Tobias Keuthen provides insight on how O’Connor, Sachtler and Vinten supports are each uniquely suited for different types of productions.

12:45-1:00PM: “Anton Bauer Mobile Power” Discover why today’s Anton/Bauer batteries go beyond mere blocks of power.  20 year Anton/Bauer veteran Joe Teodosio explains the importance of a complete system of batteries and chargers.

1:00-2:30PM: Keynote Speech “SMALL TO NO CREW PRODUCTION” Jem Schofield of the C47 will focus on small to no crew production for in-house, corporate video and independent filmmakers.  Discover the gear and techniques best suited for small scale production teams.

2:30- 3:30PM:  Hands on Demo Time- Take a break from the presentations and spend some time trying out what you’ve learned in the DEMO AREA.

3:30-4:00PM:  “Autocue Mobile Prompting” Teleprompting has been traditionally used only on major broadcast and news sets, but the rise of portable tablets such as the iPad have made it possible to bring prompting out of the studio and into the field.  See the latest options for adding teleprompting to your production to keep your cast on script.  (Joe Teodosio)

4:00-4:30PM: “Litepanels LED Lighting” With lower power requirements and less heat, LED lighting has opened up a world of possibilities.  Litepanels’ co-founder Pat Grosswendt reveals some of the subtleties of LED lighting; what to look for and what to avoid.

4:30-5:30PM: Cocktail Reception- Beer, Wine and snacks and more hands-on time in the demo area.

5:30-6:30PM: “4K, 8K, HDR and the Evolution of Production” As production moves beyond 4K to 8K and HDR, which tools and technologies should you be focusing your production on?  Join Vitec’s resident technologist, Gary Adcock for a lively discussion on filmmaking’s constantly evolving future.
