Available as a filming location.  In the summer of 1998, Miramax used the exterior of the Ventfort Hall mansion for the Oscar-winning film adaptation of John Irving's novel, Cider House Rules. Now restored, its magnificent interiors feature wood panelling, elaborate plaster ceilings, and stained glasswork. Designed in the style of a Jacobean or Elizabethan English Manor House, it sits on 12 acres of land in the center of Lenox, Massachusetts.
